Version: AVG Anti-Virus Professional 7.0.338
Pros: Easy update it
Cons: Detecting rate not high enough, if u want to buy go with kaspersky antivirus/avast pro, oh no need u can get the good one for free, try antivir/avast free edition, both of these are better than avg, no matter free or pro edition.

Version: AVG Anti-Virus Professional 7.0.338
Pros: At the moment I am running on the full version of AVG 7.0 Professional and it is doing an outstanding job at fighting viruses and dececting them. The tech support is at an acceptable level but it's pretty easy to navigate around if you're just looking to scan a few things on your computer. The trial version gives you a good amount of time to get to know the product aswell as test it however there could be a bit more features added to the trial of avg pro. Also, this includes an email scanner and instant messenger scanner which are two main things usually everybody uses.
Cons: First off is the skin. I think there should either be a choice of what you want it to look like or choose a totally different skin. It's just way too basic and ugly. Grey just isn't my thing. Dosen't do script blocking. The phone support isn't toll-free. Dosen't support Macintosh. All on all, very good product and I recommend the download and buy of it.

Version: AVG Anti-Virus Professional 7.0.338
"Better then many virus checkers:)"
Pros: 1.)Very low memory usage. (Important for my rather outdated Pentium3 Windows'98se system)..
2.)Updates very frequent. (Often daily)..
3.)Helpful friendly staff who always have answered any enquiries promptly by email...
4.) Most importantly I find the virus detection rate to be good...
5.)Compatible with my other anti-virus checker NOD32 - While I realise that it is recommended to only run one virus checker, personally I have never experienced problems running both AVG and NOD32 together...
Cons: The interface could be a little more user friendly for complete novices, although I don't see this as a problem for anyone with even basic knowledge...

Version: AVG Anti-Virus Professional 7.0.338
Pros: I'm using the +Firewall, and the AV version is 7.1
Less false detection
Small and often update
No problem with memory, i'm using 512MB and able to log in to my PC with no significant speed decrease. [with the firewall activated]
Cons: It is hard to use the auto update, maybe it's too busy.
The interface kinda hard to understand for the first time, the setting also hard, each ******* has own setting button. I mean is each program setting is not integrated by others.

Version: AVG Anti-Virus Professional 7.0.338
Pros: Fastest scan on any AV that I have ever tried! Detects more viruses than even PcCillin! Tiny download file.
Cons: I wouldn't recomend for a computer with less than 466 Megahertz processor
