"Firewall AND, Email Scanner BAD, Support Terrible !!"
Pros: NOTHING good about AVG
Cons: Firewall doesn't work properly. Email Scanner does not work as it should, you HAVE to enable scan of Outgoing Email (in spite of their claims.) Tech Support Terrible !!
Summary: After paying for a 2-year subscription, I'm giving up and REMOVING it from my computer.

"Keeps dropping out. Unclear interface for medium user"
Pros: I works in its way, and the updates keep it current
Cons: There is no straightforward way of configuring it. The options are sparsely given. It is unclear as to where firewall ends and user-identity-security begins; and then where does spam control fit in? You never really know what is working there.
Summary: If you want to be spending fifteen minutes here and fifteen minutes there (as much as once a week) to keep it on track - well go for it.

"started to downlaod but never went all through!"
Pros: started to download with the first 2 boxes and clicked run then it disapeared of the screen all together and never ever asked me to authorise the download so something is not right here!
Cons: never went through the whole downlaod without any explanation why this happened! look above for more explanation

Pros: If it won't install, there are no pros.
Cons: When you download and run this file, it asks for a license! That's not what Cnet advertises! I want to purchase this firewall, but not without trying it first!!
Guess I'll look elsewhere for a firewall!Summary: Too bad there isn't a way to contact AVG on the phone..............

Cons: pls.would u care to send me avg.8.5 with anti spam and fire wall.
Summary: pls do focus more on the anti hacking and malware/spam.
