Version: AVG Anti-Virus Plus Firewall 7.5
Pros: The antivirus is really good.Best at detecting and removing virus, worms and trojans.Effective realtime protection.The interface is alright.Really low on ram, even this product can run on 128 mb ram.Daily automatic updates.
Cons: Firewall isn't strong.You are better off with zonealarm firewall.

"Anti Virus is good but firewall is a total joke."
Pros: The anti virus is free and works very well.
Cons: The firewall is basically worthless. Matousec.com leak test rates AVG firewall 32 out of 33 for leak protection. It offers no protection what so ever! Come on AVG whats up with that? Stick with ZA or Kaspersky for great protection and an easy interface.

Pros: I loved this program and Grisoft, the makers of AVG. This program gets the job done, no matter what. It will scan for viruses and if any detected, it will crush and annihilate it making your computer as good as new. One of the best I have seen.
Cons: Nothing really, just wished the icon looked better lol.

"Works great, works quietly, works cheap"
Pros: It does a great job - no fuss, no muss, and everything's in the background. It updates itself and runs a full scan every morning, and you don't even notice it. The firewall is MUCH easier to configure than Norton (don't even get me started on Norton -- you can read my review).
Here's some icing - the subscription includes updates to the program itself. No need to buy the new new version, ever - it's included.
I supplement AVG with several freebies (Spybot, etc.) They never turn up anything - which tells me that AVG's doing its job.
Cons: None I can think of. Happy camper here.

"Found and fixed things McAfee, AOL spyzapper, Windows Defender and others missed"
Pros: Doesn't tie up my computers resources. Easy to use. Lets me control options. Doesn't miss much.
Cons: Little slow, but a small price to pay for a safe and secure computer
