In addition to great features that rip, convert, and organize music files, this application comes with an impressive set of audio effects to make any music geek giddy. Think Britney Spears could do better as a baritone? This application lets you transform audio files by, for example, filtering out certain frequencies, playing with volume, changing tempo without altering pitch, or even applying 3D sound effects. The audio editor is easy to use for even the most inexperienced, and the interface is very slick and well designed (except for the pesky "Active" button, which can be hard to find at first glance). AV Music Morpher Gold Basic can tweak live audio as well, so you even can modify your voice to sound a bit scratchy and sick while calling into the office on a Monday morning (just as an example, of course). The main drawback is the trial version severely limits the effects and features available. Overall, this is a great program that offers plenty of features for the music fanatic.Publisher's description
From Avnex :AV Music Morpher Gold is a creative, all-in-one, digital-music studio. Morpher is a real-time-processing music changer, which alters voice and tempo, add beats and effects, amplifies volume, and reduces noise. Wave editor is an audio editor to manipulate audio files in a wave chart, where you can copy, cut, paste, and mix a sample segment. This audio-editing tool allows you to playback and undo and redo before saving as a new file. It includes an audio converter that works more than a MP3 converter or WAV converter. It can convert WAV to MP3, WAV to MMA, or WMA to MP3, and among other formats: OGG, APE, NIST, AU, AIF, IRC, and MP2. The software has a built-in CD ripper and MP3 ripper, a CD burner, and a CD-cover editor to make CDs, audio clips, and movies. It also has a multiformat MP3 player and a sound recorder for music lovers to try. DJs find it powerful to mix multiple tracks, edit, and mix multiple effects, extract voices, remove voices, and filter background.

""No Limitations" trial version is way too limited!"
Cons: The Basic version is so limited that it does no more than any free MP3 player; no wonder it's free. All the cool stuff you have to pay $100 for. At least throw us a bone in the Basic version so we can really try it out before you commit your money. It's not only NOT free, it cost me my valuable time. I'm sorry I wasted my time downloading the Basic version!

Pros: Don't know didn't see it
Cons: The file downloaded alright, but turned right into a virus. I'm quite sure this will turn out to be just my comp. But be very carefull, make sure your scanner is running.

"The limitation is you can't do anything!"
Pros: great if you like nags
Cons: This is classified as free with no limitations. Why can't you do anything without buying the plus version? Seems like a limitation to me.
