Version: ACA Screen Recorder 2.03
Pros: I really like how you can choose the resolution, and create high res avis Nice program all up
Cons: The video colour is a bit poor. Also, just as with many sound recording apps, it changes the volume when recording

Version: ACA Screen Recorder 2.03
"it works! it works! it works!"
Pros: i tried several of these screen recorders, but this one is the only one which stood the test of taking the video clip results and editing them with any another tool. it was critical for me to be able to later 'splice' clips using another tool (movieMaker).
also, this one seems to have the most features and it was the easiest one to use. you can even have complete control over which portion of the screen is captured, and there are several ways to set that up.
Cons: the A/V sometimes gets off sync when you pause, but the company is addressing this in the next release (yes, they do indeed answer questions)
