From ACA Systems :ACA Capture Pro screen-capture software combines three popular products at a great price. It allows you to quickly capture screenshots, including your desktop, scrolling Web pages, Web images, menus, and even those hard-to-grab DirectX and Direct3D game and video player screens. Getting started is as easy as pressing a hot key. Also, you can apply capture masks, including circles, rectangles, and other shapes. Captures can include the mouse cursor, or can automatically send the captured images to MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, or PowerPoint.
ACA Capture Pro has many enhanced features. You can capture all Flash files from Web pages, create videos of your computer screen (make AVI videos or movies), and capture any icon from a file, directory, or hard disk.

"Can't edit video. Can't capture video."
Cons: Frame rate only goes to 30, so capturing movies or anything past choppy desktop activity is out of the question. Can't edit finished product.
