AASync is a File Backup, Folder Syncronization utility. It is simple to use, and it allows local as well as remote backups over an FTP or SFTP connection. Makes it very easy to back up your files to a remote server or another local disk or maintain your website. The sync engine will detect the changes, and copy only the changed files for efficiency.

Here are the main features: Folder Synchronization: Local-to-Local, Local-to-Remote and Remote-to-Local. Run as many syncs simultaneously as you want. Schedule your sync ops. Ability to ignore certain files or file types. Proxy/Firewall support (SOCKS, Firewall toolkit). Secure file transfers using ssh encryption. Very simple to use, but feature rich. Fast backups due to the two-phase sync engine that in most cases does not need to browse the remote host to detect changes. Different sync modes let you control how the sync is run. Copies open files using the Volume Shadow Copy service. After scheduled syncs are executed, the sync logs can be mailed to the admin automatically. Version 2.2.1 allows to copy open files.
