From Emsi Software :A-squared (a2) Personal is scans for and removes malware of the latest generation, with a specialty in Trojan horses, dialers, and spyware. The background guard prevents harmful programs running on your PC and blocks malware before it can become active. The program has an intrusion detection system (IDS) which alerts you immediately if any running programs exhibit suspicious behavior. Currently more than 90,000 types of malware can be detected and removed securely. Free online updates provide the best protection.
Version 1.6 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

"dont think further,,just download"
Pros: it removes spyware,trojans ,malware that ussually go undetected by ur antivirus and anti-spyware
Cons: u need to register anyway registration is free and takes less than a minute

Pros: Read the article by myself (tomcatjjr) under the free version and there you go! By the way, I meant to say it expires in the year 3000 not 2003. Also after you have done the trick, just uninstall the trial. You don't need it anymore. Enjoy ;)

Pros: Finds everything makes spysweeper obsolete, the professional version has some handy hijack tools this is a great program spywre malware finder all wrapped in one.Downloaded Webroot pop up washer trial and A2 found a spy toolbar from the webroot program deleted it and
the pop up program is running great minus the spy toolbar
Cons: It scans a little slow but very very thorough.

"way better than editors think"
Pros: -notice that there are more definitions in the program than any other competitor
-i use 8 different programs regurally and it didnt catch what this did
-easy to install(i dont believe the person that said it took 4 hours to install) n00b
-small file size
Cons: -have to register an email address
