From Emsi Software :A-squared Anti-Malware uses two full scan engines in the battle against Viruses, Trojans/Backdoors, Spyware/Adware, Worms/Bots, Keyloggers, Dialers and all other types of Malware that are waiting on the internet. But there is no doubling of the scan duration as it would be the case with two separate scanning programs. Considerable performance improvement is possible thanks to the integration of the two engines on the lowest level. Signature updates are available at least 5 times per day, currently providing detection for about 3 million different types of Malware.

Version: A-squared Anti-Malware 4.5.0.1
Pros: Tried them all... Malwarebytes, spybot, adaware, counterspy, etc. etc. they all either found one and done or none at all. Not until I ran this program. It still found 18 Traces plus 2 trojans (on just one test machine). Good work.
Cons: None so far
Summary: Would like to see this product reviewed by an editor at cnet. They gave other programs top ratings that found nothing on my three test machines. a squared found 58 total infections that the others missed.

"I keep trying product to work & somehow keep failing!"
Pros: Many people have claimed that it works fine for their systems...and I believe them. I just cannot get it to work with my systems...something always hangs or seems to conflict & I have to uninstall the A-Squared. At least the uninstall works fine.
Cons: Does not work well with many systems and other programs, locks up processes of harmless applications. Finicky. Problematic.
Summary: Many respected people seem to have a lot of good things to say about this product. Maybe they are running more simple systems with just basic Office, browsers and a few apps. I cannot seem to get this product to work harmoniously with all the thin... read more >>
