Version: A-squared Anti-Malware 3.5.0.22
Pros: This is an excellent app by a publisher I trust. Shields are outstanding. Detection is great but a tad over zealous. Truth is, if your gonna invest in any app of this type, this is a good choice, but,.....
Cons: It's an app you have to keep a handle on. Deep scans can lock up at about 75%. It does require some knowledge of nasties and needs user intervention. But it goes great with ESET Smart Security & I've been 100% clean ever since I started with that combo.

Pros: Great addition to my arsenal. Free through tomorrow @ give away of the day! Truth is, thats why I have a new license. It's a real, one year, with tech support & updates! If you need a good one, grab it!
Cons: Expensive! Deep scan is slow. Occasional false positive but hey, what security app doesn't once in a while?

Pros: Good program but not without flaws. Nice interface, updates every day, huge signature data base. My recommendation is, if you want to use A-Squared, get the free version and install it on an external flash drive. It works fine and without the headaches of having it installed on your computer.
Cons: Expensive, a few false positives on items I know to be clean, slow scan. A program with an add is not necessarily adware. This scanner seems to feel it's an infection. Even Avira AntiVir personal has an add. Can anyone honestly tell me it's an infection? I think not as in my opinion it's far and away the best free anti-virus program available.

"It's the real Trojan and Worm killer!"
Pros: It's the best Anti-Malware there is! Even the Trojan horse Zlob-downloder don't stand a chance against it!
