Version: A-squared Anti-Malware 3.1.0.24
"Strong software by a reputible vendor."
Pros: I had it for a year but chose not to renew my license even though it was offered at half price. It usually has great detection, removal and active protection but it's over priced and gave me false positives. Besides, I read sometime ago that Ashampoo Anti-Spy has the same signature data base and found it to be true. I bought it for $9.95 as compared to the asking price here of $39.95.
Cons: Extremely long scan times coupled with false positives and too much cookie detection left me not renewing my subscription. I realize some programs can be considered possible threats but even after adding to the white list it still detected one particular program I know is know to be no threat at all.
