This freeware application promises to help you alleviate stress, but the short session and lack of flexibility may not get the job done. A Free Instant Stress Relief Hypnosis Session doesn't have a very impressive interface; it seems outdated and isn't appealing. Two buttons to start and stop the session are easy to use, but there was a problem when we tried to maximize the window. Brief instruction is given on the interface, but it starts with a prompt to buy the accompanying 30-minute audio track for $8.95, making us question the effectiveness of using only the free visual session.
During the free session, which lasts only 6 minutes, you'll see messages flash at the center of rotating graphics. No user settings or options are offered, so you can't customize the messages or sessions. It's easy enough for anyone to use, but this freeware seems to promise more than it delivers.

It does use real hypnosis, but you have to "give in" to it (if the picture looks like 2 swirls you're doing it right)
