Pros
i downloaded this foolish s/w , & when tried to execute it, the kingsoft PC doctor detected: trojan win32.troj.generic(kcloud)
& warned me that this trojan virus may harvest your account of online ban & online game ,& destroy local computer & harvest user privacy information.
when i scanned it with well known "Malware bytes antimalware" it also detected thread:PUP.BundleInstaller.4S.
so i recommend not to download this software.Cons
this is foolish trash . with full of virus, if u want to expose urself to the internet cloud the only install this.
it is better to install most trusted, multifunctional & most memory provider cloud service "Skydrive".Summary

Cons
Tried downloading files today before logging in to 4shared and realized, they started making people sign-up in order to download files. I really, really, really, hate this. Do we not have enough website accounts? I'd like to be able to tell a friend about, or post a YouTube video with a download link, without my friend or the person watching the video to have to sign-up for something. The reason I'm really peeved about this is that I know (I checked when I signed-up, after MegaUpload got shutdown) it wasn't like this before, and must've changed sometime back.
Summary
Good service that needs to continue working out the bugs. I'm sure they will over time. For now, they really need to remove that condition about signing up in order to download.

I'm a Twitter addict and I share my photos using 4sync cloud almost every day. Works just fine. 4Sync meet my criteria for a good online backup service. Of course 4Sync shows a few quirks sometimes but the same story happens with a lot of other syncing services. As far as I know it's a rather young start up and I'm ready to forgive its minor bugs because I can enjoy free 15GB of storage space.

I don't understand all these negative reviews. Chill out people, it's a new service, they can't be perfect. All my files are OK and never disappeared. They always were synced in a proper way. 4Sync is a good choice for those people who don't need extra features and easy basic plan. It offers more cloud storage space with a free account than any of its rivals and it's easy to use. I tried a lot of cloud storages and this one is the best for me.

Summary
Of course, limiting features for the free plan is a strategic decision for such big cloud storages as SugarSync or Dropbox. That's why I favor 4Sync. I checked by myself and can say it for sure: free version provide the same functionality as premium plan. No restrictions and I like it. I don't need 100Gb of storage space and so far 15Gb are perfect for syncing files.

15gb of free file storage online. Simple function.

Inconsistent. It uploaded my files initially, but ever since has given uploading errors when additional files are added to the synced folders, or when a previously synced file has been updated. I can use the web interface to upload things, but the syncing function (from the folder on my local computer) isn't functional.
Summary
I'm beginning to think the frustration isn't worth the effort I have already put into using this program. I can't trust it to do what it says it will do.

* Very often a small file failed be uploaded from my PC or laptop to 4sync server.
* Uploading speed is extremely slow (my internet is Comcast cable).
* Very often the synchronization are failed. It means if you deleted a file in your 4sync folder in your PC, it failed to sync with the rest.Summary
Regardless 15GB free storage, I am now a happy user of 2GB dropbox. All of CONs of 4sync don't exist in dropbox. It is a waste of time with frustration. Emails to 4sync support member got zero responses.

(1)Typically it's a 50/50 shot to see if the web site will allow you to log in. (2)"Your" account, files and data are not under your control. I have had this service for a little over a month and "my" account has been wiped out (...accidentally?) twice. This was a total loss of data. (3)You must keep a backup of anything you upload because when 4Sync craps out it will sync all the errors with the folder on your hard drive. Thus, you must delete it and reinstall the software.
Summary
If you back up everything you put on this "Cloud" you can rely on your backups. The unreliable nature of 4Sync makes any benifit it gives (a continuously synced backup) useless because after you upload it, it's normal for the files and folders to be "lost". When you try access your files you'll frustratingly get, "The file link that you requested is not valid." This is corrected by you going to your backup files and re-uploading all the lost data.
After 5 hours the site came back up and my data was not lost, Wheeew. The service is a little clunky and still requires daily attention to small glitches that can accumulate and get out of hand. The ability to log in and use your files is spotty. The whole service can be madning and madningly slow. However, it's the best I've seen so far.

Summary
I use this app with my 3 collegues. We live in different cities and share one account. It is very convenient. There is a file which all three of us should edit daily. And 4syncs helps a lot to save our time.
