Version: 1st Class GradeBook 7.2c
Cons: I used this program happily for ten years. Now, however, there is no one to contact either by phone or by email. It seems from other comments that they're still collecting money, but providing nothing. It's sad to see such a good company go belly up, but that's what has apparently happened. If you look at their home page, it's rife with editing errors. I don't know when this happened, but I'm certain it wasn't that way when I first bought the program. Something has definitely changed.

"Paid them for unlock key but they refuse to unlock it"
Pros: It works great until the trial runs out, then if you buy it they refuse to help you.
Cons: I paid them the full price with credit card and they will not unlock it. i have called several times and emailed constantly and they refuse to respond to me. I checked my credit card and they have taken my money. i had all of my grades on this program and now i cannot access them without an unlock key which they refuse to provide me. i would have loved to use this program but their customer service stinks and they have obviously ripped me out of around $80. Do not use this program!!!!!

"Easiest and most powerful gradebook I found so far"
Pros: I found this gradebook easy to setup and get started. Most of the advanced features are intuitive. The reports are the strongest part of this gradebook.
Cons: There was a report I didn't like but I used crystal reports to change it. (The reports are all done in crystal reports.)

Version: 1st Class GradeBook 7.2c
"More options, better reports"
Pros: When I compare the kinds of reports I can print out with other teachers, this system definitely has the edge. There are also some nice set-up options that give me more flexibility in how I grade and record assignments that not all gradebooks have.
Cons: The only thing I can imagine is that, for those who are shy about reading over the product options, the program isn't as simplistic as more basic gradebooks. For anyone who uses basic computer programs regularly (not necessarily a computer expert)this program is not challenging to figure out. For the very shy user, it won't be hard to get a friend's advice on how to get comfortable on it.

Version: 1st Class GradeBook 7.2c
"they lock the program without warning and you lose any info"
Summary: I was trying out the program to see if I wanted to buy it and the company locked it. They gave me the option to lose all my info that I put in (I still have my gradebook of course) or pay $70 dollars for a program I'm not sure I want.
