Publisher's Description
From Visual Vision:
With this professional and easy to use Web publishing tool you can make fancy Websites and Internet pages: hot spots, frames, frame-to-frame links, styles, popups, mouse-over changing images, flash and more... quickly. You never see the actual HTML, so everything is visual and really fast. An entire site exists as a single document, so no messing with endless files. Site-wide search/replace, internal images album, and FTP with autodetect of modified pages, so you manage things globally and publish to the Internet very fast. The on-the-fly generated pages are good for Netscape and IE, and optimized with the most advanced expedients, so you don't have to create different pages for different browsers, and framed pages are also search-engine-safe. Advanced users can insert Html and Javascript, if required. Furthermore, each site may be converted without any effort for offline media publishing (CD) by using the Hyper Publish PRO product (also from VisualVision).

"Download.com are wrong, the Lite version is FREE"
Version: 1site (LITE) 2008.18.215
Pros
A terrific little web builder, packed with details, even includes built-in FTP. Fairly easy to use, detailed FAQ, some tutorials, and a searchable forum, currently on 22 pages. It is totally free, you only pay for an upgrade.
Cons
Help page has links to a PDF manual and a full visual manual, but they don't download, rather disappointing. There's also a really childish animated introduction. Apart from this I am very pleased with it.
Summary
You have to activate the product by supplying your name and email address, then they instantly email a code to you. You commit yourself to receiving a couple of newsletters a year.
Some time later I tried the PDF Manual and the Full Visual Manual again, and now they downloaded OK, so it looks as if I was just unlucky the first time. Haven't had time to read them yet, but there's a lot of information in there.
