CNET Editors' review
Anyone who uses the Web for a while knows that login information starts to pile up quickly. With online e-mail accounts, login information for online banking, and countless forums, most users start to use the same passwords for everything. It's pretty easy to see how this is a bad security practice.
Fortunately, you can download 1Password, which remembers all your passwords so you don't have to. Simply come up with a secure master password and then train 1Password to log in to sites for you. It integrates seamlessly with Apple's Mac OS X Keychain and generates complex passwords for you, making it impossible for anyone to crack your code. What's more, you can use 1Password's Go Fill option to automatically login to your favorite sites (think of it as super secure bookmarks) to get you where you want to be quickly.
You can organize your software licenses all in one section, and you can access 1Password from other computers, as well as sync it with your iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad--and the app can now integrate closely with the free Dropbox service, for "syncing to the cloud." An easy-to-use Sync Conflict Resolver helps you manage differences in data between multiple devices. Overall, if you have a lot of logins for several Web sites, 1Password is the best software available to keep your logins secure without having to remember tons of passwords.
Publisher's Description
From Agile Web Solutions:
1Password is a Password Manager that uniquely brings you both Security and Convenience. It is the only program that provides Anti-Phishing protection and goes beyond password management by adding Web Form Filling and Automatic Strong Password Generation. All your confidential information, including passwords, identities, and credit cards, is kept in one secure place provided by Apple's OS X Keychain. 1Password browser extensions support Safari, Camino, Firefox, OmniWeb, DEVONagent, NetNewsWire, Netscape Navigator, and Flock. All browser extensions share the data stored in the keychain which means you never need to manually copy your passwords between browsers or from the password manager to a browser ever again! 1Password has received numerous awards, including 4.5 mice from Macworld magazine, MacLife Editors pick, and was the Pick of Week on MacBreak Weekly by both Leo Laporte and Merlin Mann.

"I do not worry about passwords anymore!"
Version: 1Password 3.4.4
Pros
I can have the program generate any length password, it records it and fills in my name and password if I ask it to the next time I want to enter the site. I can configure it to ask for my master password before it fills in my information.
Cons
I guess what I do not like about the software is when I launch it, it locks itself after a brief amount of time. I can change the amount of time but I bought it to protect myself from choosing the same password all of the time. I resent but use it!
Summary
My wife and I use several electronic devices. Two iPhones, two Mac's and a PC. I have 1Password installed on each so that we do not have to remember more than the one password, the master password. I have several 32 character passwords that I would never have used but the program remembers them all, every time on each device. I sync all of my devices through Dropbox which integrates with 1Password like they were the same company. I could use another cloud storage box but I prefer this one because if its close integration.
I have retrieved a password, needed but rarely used, on my iPhone. Later, my wife asked me to install some software on her PC, to verify it was working properly, I needed to log into her financial account which I had never done before but 1Password simply filled in the fields when I let it.
Before 1Password, I told everyone to never use the same password for different accounts, etc., but I almost always did. I had two! Now, each account has a different password usually no less than 15 characters. I do not have to remember any of them except my master password.
Great software! The only reason that I do not give it five stars is that it does not prepare breakfast. -

"Fantastic virtual "safe""
Version: 1Password 3.4.4
Pros
I no longer have to worry about keeping track of dozens of passwords, serial numbers, account numbers, and private notes. They're all here, protected by a single master password, which I can make extremely complex. Automatic interfaces with browsers.
Cons
Occasional crashes are a minor nuisance.
