Publisher's Description
From Agile Web Solutions:
1Password is a Password Manager that uniquely brings you both Security and Convenience. It is the only program that provides Anti-Phishing protection and goes beyond password management by adding Web Form Filling and Automatic Strong Password Generation. All your confidential information, including passwords, identities, and credit cards, is kept in one secure place provided by Apple's OS X Keychain.
1Password browser extensions support Safari, Camino, Firefox, OmniWeb, DEVONagent, NetNewsWire, Netscape Navigator, and Flock. All browser extensions share the data stored in the keychain which means you never need to manually copy your passwords between browsers or from the password manager to a browser ever again!
1Password has received numerous awards, including 4.5 mice from Macworld magazine, MacLife Editors pick, and was the Pick of Week on MacBreak Weekly by both Leo Laporte and Merlin Mann.
If you purchase today you will also receive a cool new Sync to iPhone feature for FREE.

"Very frustrated"
Version: 1Password 3.8.20
Pros
Better than nothing
Cons
Doesn't alway remember the last password when you change it. Does not let you see a history of generated passwords so you can figure out which ones it didn't remember for you. Much harder to use than art versions. Makes multiple records for the same website. User documentation is slim.
Summary
I don't like the idea of web based versions, but I'll probably go that route. I don't understand how it gets such rave reviews. I'm running a Mac with Lion.

"A Mac/iOS must-have"
Version: 1Password 3.8.20
Pros
I am running this app on my Mac and 2 iOS devices. It has allowed me to use strong passwords and not worry about login problems.
Cons
More cumbersome to use on iOS than OSX but that may also be my problem.

"Great product for secure passwords"
Version: 1Password 3.8.19
Pros
1. stores all my passwords so I don't have to remember them
2. generates secure passwords
3. stores all sorts of other info that needs to be secure such as ssn's, bank acct numbers, etc.
4. finally gave me an easy place to put all my software keys rather than have to hunt for the email that had themCons
Pricey, but totally worth it.
Summary
I've been a user of 1Password since I switched over to the Mac about a year and a half ago. It's been an indispensable way of creating secure passwords and not having to remember them. I strongly recommend the Mac version as well as the iPhone and iPad versions.
In addition to passwords, I also use it to store all those pesky account numbers (like a bank's routing number) that you rarely need but it's great to pull out my phone and get it rather than have to hunt for my checkbook. -
"Fantastic Product and Excellent Service & Support"
Version: 1Password 3.8.19
Pros
Easy to use, reliable, syncs with dropbox, fantastic service & support, integrates with all major browsers and then some
Cons
None that I've experienced
Summary
Simply the best password manager and digital wallet I've every used. I've tried others on occasion and always came back to 1password. FYI, the only reason I've tried others is because of the price. I don't mind paying for quality software, but free is still better. Nonetheless, I haven't found anything that even comes close to the ease of use, reliability, and elegant design of 1Password. I use it on my Mac and PC, and my wife uses it on her Mac. It syncs between my Mac and PC via dropbox, which I already had installed anyway, seamlessly. Also, I once had an issue of which customer support promptly responded with a more than adequate solution. In fact, I was completely blown away by the level of service and support I received with my issue. Companies simply don't care about their customers anymore accept for a select few, Agile being one of them. It's a pleasure dealing with these guys. Quality product + superior support = 5 stars.

"A bit clunky"
Version: 1Password 3.8.19
Pros
Keeps all of your password information as well as credit cards and software serial numbers.
Cons
The search bar does not work well when trying to search through all of your saved passwords. You will often have to log in twice, once off the the launch pad and then again off the tool bar. You should be able to consistently click on your saved password and it should go to the webpage and auto fill...it usually does not. Autofill is not reliable.
Summary
Overall this is as good as it gets for Mac... unfortunately. I'm still straddling between PC and Mac until I replace my final machine at which point I'll be all Mac. On my PC I've used Roboform for years and love it. The only option there is to save your passwords to the cloud and I'm not quite ready to do that yet. 1Password will work, just a bit clunky. I think if a little more effort were placed in the UI it would be smoother to use. It certainly looks prettier than Roboform but I would prefer it to autofill every time, one click should go to the website, fill in the username and password and open and only have one access point...either on the launch pad or on the tool bar but not both. Mac users deserve better.

"an app you must have"
Version: 1Password 3.8.19
Pros
Easy to use. especially the key generator to make a password which is safe. you can use the app on different macs, iphone, ipad and ipod touch. The same passwords on different browsers and macs. Remember you must use Dropbox to use 1Password on different Mac's or PC's.
Cons
The price. When you have only 1 windows PC it is certainly too expensive. But when you have more PC's or more Mac's and several portable devices as iPad , iPhone and iPod Touch it is worth.

"Good but not as good as LastPass"

"Simplifies your online experience"
Version: 1Password 3.8.19
Pros
A very easy to use, useful program, which has simplified saving of the hundreds of passwords I have. Also has a convenient add-on for most browsers, which recognizes a previously used website and auto fills the password with one click. Contains a simple search feature to quickly find your password or website. Easy to use credit card and personal data entry for websites.
Cons
Add-on in Safari opens a new window each time you select a new webpage. Cumbersome to update passwords.
