Version: 18 Wheels of Steel - Across America 1
"Different, Might get a cult following"
Pros: In types of games available, the 18 wheels series is only the second of it's kind (and this 1 actually works). You are essentially a trucker. Fortunately it's easy enough to enjoy playing. It's a game that you can click new game and get into it. Driving the truck is just realistic enough to get you into a bit of trouble if you do something totally stupid, but generally it's easy enough to enjoy.
If you always wanted something more than a circuit racing game (F1 etc), then you might like this.
Cons: Graphics nice, gameplay nice, but ... just not enough there. It's one of those games that you wish that you could grab the developers by the scruff of the neck and shout 'why didn't you develop this further' (privateer is another example). This game could have been great, but it isn't. As it stands, the majority will love playing with it for an hour or two, then get bored and delete it.

Version: 18 Wheels of Steel - Across America 1
Pros: I said to myself I was going to download this when I got home, and then when I was in RadioShack I saw it for 9.99 so I picked it up. True, it is a game which is really realistic, and true to life, with weigh stations, back roads, ect.
Cons: Uses alot of RAM/Memory, so make sure your using a fast enough computer first. I too find it funny that it does have 2 fuel gauges, but what the hey the rest of the cab is spot on!

Version: 18 Wheels of Steel - Across America 1
Cons: Graphics could be better and I didn't even finish one derlivery in the demo before time ran out.File size isn't as stated more like 140Mb.While the full game may be good the demo was a waste off time.

Version: 18 Wheels of Steel - Across America 1
"Fun at first, gets to be a bit boring."
Pros: Graphics are excellent, game is realistic in most aspects. Provides a good challenge. Fun to buy new trucks and hire new drivers.
Cons: After one delivery after another, it gets boring. Would have been more interesting if you had time limit for each delivery, like real life. Also would have been interesting if you had to watch your driver's fatique, like in the first 18 WOS.

Version: 18 Wheels of Steel - Across America 1
Pros: The game is so real!!! You will be able to drive from state to state with real traffic light systems and police! You will have to fill up your fuel tank at petrol stations on the way and the whole game is just so real!
Cons: The demo time is too short!
