• A fair review

  Pros

  I want to be clear that this is a fair unbiased review The software did indeed allow me to upload my entire library of videos into my youtube account, so great job, well done!! The features can get very detailed. I didnt touch on many of the features within the program, but it was very easy to drag, drop and upload The wiki pages were detailed and i begun using it immediately, so i liked that a lot

  I had a little trouble getting the drag and drop to work right away, my firewall was preventing it, but this was resolved using supports help

  It was very easy to upload my whole video library. It took a few minutes to get started with the software, but once I learned it, it was really fast!

• It Worked, Once

  Pros

  It worked at least once. It uploaded 3 of 6 videos. Yay :-/

  It was not until much later that I realised the official website has a referral program. This makes all of the positive reviews suspect since these individuals are incentivized to give a positive review. Placed order on Jun 6, 2017 was told I'd receive it in 24 hours. Received email with key on Jun 9, 2017. Was told by Ginko Solutions I probably "missed it". First time it failed to upload 3 of the 6 videos added to it. The second time it would not let me add any videos to the software at all. I followed the troubleshooting directions provided by the website which is all of one page with no success. At this point I had spent more time and effort than I wanted on getting this software to work so I requested a refund from Ginko Solutions.

  Summary

  Ginko Solutions escalated the request to PayPal with predictable results. I was not aware at the time of purchasing the software that I would become a tester of the software. This software is unfortunately not ready for Primetime. It appears to still be in development phase. I am familiar with seeing software with no installer on SourceForge but not for sale. A good developer makes it easy for the user to use and install the software. That was not the case here. I wish I had the time and money to continuously troubleshoot beta level software but I simply do not. I do not know of anyone who would pay for the privilege of testing software. This is why I requested a refund. After "installing" and attempting to use the software it was clear to me this was a "high-maintenance" kind of software but it simply doesn't do enough nor work well enough to warrant the $25 price tag. So, now I'm out $25 and have learned it's not worth supporting small developers unless one does extensive research first. If I had looked harder before committing my money to a questionable developer, it would still be in my wallet. My only recourse now is spread this message across social networks and software websites on the Internet in the hopes that I can help someone else avoid my mistake.

  Pros

  Works perfect!!! The software allowed me to upload my huge backlog of videos to YouTube effortlessly! I'm a Windows 10 user (Not sure what the guy in the last review was talking about!), works great for our video team based in Portland, OR.

  Scheduling could be a useful feature for us

  There aren't any pros because it doesn't actually do anything other than allow you send money to the developer

  The software does not work on Windows10, but the developer does not state that up front. This is a scam if your system isn't set up exactly as the software needs it to be, and there are no refunds.

  Summary

  If you have some extra cash you may want to gamble with this software, but you probably want to avoid buying it. You will not receive a refund if it doesn't work, and it didn't work for me (Windows10 x64). As others have mentioned, it does not have an installer or uninstaller, so you have to do a lot to get it installed. If that works (my install took a few tries and I had to download SQL Server first), you need to set up a user before the software moves on to the next step, and that's where it fails. It's possible that it works on Windows7, but I wouldn't know. I contacted the developer to ask for a refund, but instead I was harassed just for asking. He mentioned that many other people have asked for refunds and he hasn't refunded their money, either. I like to support small businesses and not restrict myself to software only from big companies, but at least every big company will refund your money if the software doesn't actually work. Buyer beware, and steer clear of Ginko Solutions.

• Wonderful Product

  Pros

  I really like the video management and auto-tagging features of the software. I can manage and edit my videos at a later date and the software magically picks these changes up and syncs them with youtube! The drag and drop feature saves so much time and effort!

  Cons

  The software could use an installer and uninstaller, however, this does not affect the software is any way, its great!

  It does everything I wanted! It auto tags, uploads in bulk, supports multiple accounts and so much more. It is supported on both my windows 10 computer and my old windows xp computer. great work!
