This application scans and removes erroneous registry errors from you computer, although it fails to provide some useful features. After creating a registry backup, WyvernWorks Registry Fix-Up 2004 instantly sifted through our registry and returned several anomalies detailing the file type, section, key name, and file path. The program details all the errors found and gives a summary of the problems at the bottom of its generic interface, although it only gets rid of 15 problem files. You don't get a report of cleaned items, and the online help file isn't available. During our evaluation, we were able to define certain files, folders, and drives to bypass during the scan process. You can also filter scan by selecting the type of invalid entries you want to track down such as shortcuts, shared DLL files, and uninstall paths, or you can simply scan them all. Although the demo only offers a taste of this skilled program's performance, most users can benefit from using it.

I recently bought the bundle pack for all of WyvernWorks products. It worked for a few days... then wanted a product key... I never got one with my receipt! I tried to contact several times by e mail... the emails were returned! I tried to contact several times by phone in Malasiya!!! The number doesn't work!!!! So I'm going to my bank to get the funds transferred back to my account.

A total ripoff. I downloaded this in May, paid for it, and used it. Then I tried to use it in June. The program stated that my key had expired. So I obtained another key. I tried in July to use the program. My key had expired. I got another one, and it still wouldn't start. No responses EVER from customer support.

I tried the demo which did nothing except remove 2 of the claimed 1137 defectives. I bought it, downloaded program and key which didn't work. Tried again. Same result. Third time I was informed I used up all my downloads. No reply to 5 E-letters. I think it's a scam. Don't pay until you get something that works

I've tried a bunch of "popular" (and money-hungry) registry editors since a serious crash forced a complete re-install of Win98. This is the ONLY one that made any real difference. Loads Windows in 20 secs., and programs that limped with long waits now "hop to it". Win98 closes promptly--when it once wouldn't close at ll. NEGATIVES--It's "Nagware", but a poor user can put up with it and still get the benefits. WORTH $5 !!
