Very Useful Program for Writers

Pros
Very handy electronic version of the book Words are organized by conceptual categories (e.g., "carpets and rugs", "transportation", etc.) so you can search for words when no word comes to mind immediately. The program has a search engine too. The interface is intuitive and easy to navigate. An indispensible tool for writers.
Cons
Word lists haven't been up-dated for awhile, since the book hasn't either for a decade or so. Nonetheless, I find the tool very handy and very useful.
Summary
Under Windows 10, the program didn't seem to load. Once I created a shortcut for it, right-clicked on that shortcut, selected properties, and then (1) changed compatibility mode to "Windows 98/Me" and (2) under Settings selected reduced color mode and 16-bit (65536) color, the program now runs fine.

Summary
I tried to open the downloaded info and keep getting the message "corrupted file" download again. Even after trying an alternate download site I still have the same problem. Sounds like a great program, I just can't try the 14 day free trial.
