WinUtilities Startup Cleaner for Windows

This program simplifies configuring your startup programs, but we wish it included save and sort functions. WinUtilities Startup Cleaner's tree and check box interface is clean and well designed. Many will compare this app to MSconfig, but it offers easier methods to perform the same functions. Startup programs are helpfully sorted by type: Startup folder, Win.ini, and Registry. It's very easy to add or edit entries in a simple pop-up dialog. Deleting an entry is a simple choose-and-click process. Startup Cleaner provides detailed information for each item through a context menu option. Better still is a quick method to search Google for additional information. We missed functions to save start-up settings for easy restore and to sort settings by directory and name. Intermediate users searching for better control than offered by MSconfig will find this program helpful.
