  Easy to use. Cheap. Lots of templates.

  Cons

  maybe be tough for beginners who want to upload to their non-webeasy host provider. Tough to edit the native html. Not great for advanced developers or people who want to incorporate their own custom code.

  Summary

  Great for beginners who want to build a basic website and don't mind using the web easy servers to host. Ok for seasoned web developers with their existing web hosts and own way of doing things. Those who want deep customizations may want to look at other software like Adobe dreamweaver. Definitely take advantage of the free trial.

  Webeasy (10) it truly dreadful, It is inconsistent, illogical and full of bugs. Nothing works correctly. The help files are dreadful, and the support service doesn't seem to work. I have wasted a long time on this prduct and plan to abandon the effort,

  somewhat easy, but not intuitive. OK interfaces and some OK templates.

  Cons

  WYSIWYG is not more like WYSIWY sort of G. Have to bounce often between the editor and a web page to see really what will be published. Not easy to modify html directly from within the software. But the worst was the publishing feature... it just does not work and a call to tech support simply just pointed me back to my hosting provider. Resorted to filezilla after trying to make it work for about an hour which of course worked on the first go.

  Summary

  not worth the money, I'm sure there is a better solution for the neophyte web developer.

  Not any that stand out, templates looked ok but watch out you try to make the slightest modifications to them.

  Cons

  This software is like telephone con-artist, don't be tempted to buy it. The WYSIWYG should be what you see is what you get.... ,but this software gets all mixed up and mistakes are permitted by the poor WYSIWYG implementation can't be It's corrected. It is Non-intuitive, you'd be better off coding HTML and CSS by hand. Poor error backtracking Don't make the same mistake I made. Stay away from this software it is worthless.

  A worthless waste of time, money and learning effort. The higher ratings of this program are absolute propaganda.

  Not as intuitive as I hoped

  Summary

  Don't know what all the fuss is about with this program. I've had Versions 6, 7 and 8 and have never had a problem. Always worked flawlessly. You do have to devote some time to learning how this program works but all in all, an inexpensive way to build a semi-professional looking website. Wish it had more features, though. Avanquest hasn't done much in the past few years to update its features -- or introduce new ones. But a steady-eddy program.

  It is a mess. No manual, buggy, Avanquest should sack whoever wrote this junk and immediately withdraw it from the market, refund every purchaser and hire someone who knows what they are doing. It simply does not deliver any of the promises.

  Summary

  Avoid upgrading. Stick to version 9 or earlier. This is a release to satisfy shareholders or management or someone but definitely not the consumer.

  Can't think of any.

  This product is a long, long way from providing a reasonable website. For nearly two months, I've been trying to get a response to my request for a refund. NO RESPONSE TO EMAIL, NO TELEPHONE CALLS ANSWERED... Today - on their new 'parent' site there's a link to "buy effexor" which is an antidpressent. I ordered the additional extended download period (fool that I am) and the Backup CD (which hasn't arrived).

  Summary

  My recommendation: Do NOT deal with the company.

• A lot of fun and creative potential

  Pros

  Very flexible, with a lot of creative templates and creative, easy to set in place scripts. Had a page done in 30 minutes, a whole basic site done in a little over an hour, and all without reading the instructions.

  Cons

  Program has a few irritating bugs that slowed progress down.

  Summary

  The creative potential is phenomenal if you don't mind learning all the ins and outs of this program. Even with the irritating bugs it is still a fun program that gets the job done.

  I have no pros about this product. I am extremely disappointed.

  Cons

  This software is very difficult to navigate. There is no written documentation, and even the "on-screen" help that appears is illogical and hard to follow.
