Beta or prerelease software is not intended for inexperienced users, as the software may contain bugs or potentially damage your system. We strongly recommend that users exercise caution and save all mission-critical data before installing and/or using this software.
VoodooPad is a place to write down your notes and thoughts. Ideas, images, lists, passwords, your mom's apple pie recipe. Include anything you need to keep track of and organize, and VoodooPad will grow with you without getting in the way. Drag and drop folders, PDFs, applications, or URLs into VoodooPad, and they will link up just like on the web. And with powerful search, nothing will be lost or out of reach.
This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
I love Voodoo and couldn't live without it. Unfortunately, DO NOT UPDATE to 3.0 when you're on OSX 10.3.9 as versiontracker does not carry the older version.
It's a great tool for blogs and even website development. It's a great tool worth the investment.
Now only wish version tracker would keep us 10.3 in the loop or else there is no point any more.
Elegant, Excellent!

Summary
This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
I am an author. I make 100% of my living by writing. Over the years, there is only one other data-storing and organizing program I have liked, and it was Tinderbox. But for working on the next edition of my 900-page book, I have switched to VoodooPad and am VERY pleased with the feel of it. Given how my book has 50-some odd chapters, I've set up a separate folder for each chapter which contains its own VoodooPad document or Wikipedia-like database. VoodooPad has earned my respect, and I really am a pretty harsh critic of software when it comes to my work. Just making a change to something new is an extreme step for me. Also, the three or four times I pestered the VoodooPad tech support with presales questions or to make a suggestion, some guy named Gus has always gotten back to me within 12 to 24 hours. I've now been using the program heavily for two months. Will update this in another couple of months after the next edition goes to press. One problem I have is that this program has been so stable that I don't make backups as often as I should. I've suggested to Gus that they make an easy backup button, or a more robust back-up protocol. But that's not the program's fault! As for the ratings, support is excellent, documentation not so great.

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
This is the only application I've found in many years that easily lets me jot down all those little bits of information I need to keep track of, keeps *everything* in one place and all linked together so it's easy to access.
This is one of those few rare pieces of software, I rank it right up there with BBEdit and OmniWeb.

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.

Steadily this application gets better and better. I use it for everything from doodling notes when I'm on the phone to really heavy duty documentation with links to files, URLs and applications. It's fab.

New stuff in version 2.1 that gets my vote includes the addition of custom tables and lists. Much as I love OmniOutliner, this baby just feels more intuitive, more malleable, and I love it.

Oh, and the developer responds to your feedback!

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
Voodoopad is nothing short of genius!
I had been using a mixture of Stickies and various Konfabulator widgets to
keep track of all my pesky little hyper-tidbits...that was until I downloaded this
extremely robust and stable little app! An hour after installation and I found
myself buying the full version online. Never has a single piece of software been so incredibly useful.
If your like me and have multiple things to remember and work/projects to complete etc, you'll wonder how you lived without it!
EXCELLENT! :-)

I kind of miss the distinct look of colored stickies though.
