Capable but DATED, can't sync both iPhone & iPad

Pros
Solid and reliable. Quick and easy to mark/unmark items on a list. Generalized list processor -- make your own grocery/shopping lists, check lists (packing list for travel, emergency checklist, boating checklist, etc.) or any other kind of list.
Cons
Dated. This app goes back to early Palm PDA days, and the user interface shows it. When creating new lists or adding/editing items for a list, there way too much "mousing around" (pull downs from pull downs.) Not location aware. A huge issue for me is that each and every iOS device (iPod, iPhone, iPad) has its own data file. There is NO WAY to sync the SAME DATA to your iPhone AND your iPad. The iPhone and the iPad get separate data files I CAN NOT put my grocery list on BOTH. This is an issue which has been on the SplashData user forum for more than a year. Lots of complaints. SplashData has shown no interest in fixing the problem.
Summary
I have used SplashShopper since the mid 90's. I HATE having to start at the bottom of a learning curve with a new piece of software. But I've had it; for me, the hassles of sticking with Splash Shopper, exceed the hassle of finding and switching to something new. I've started looking for more modern replacement

Thought it was free after purchasing the ipod touch application but so far no problems with either the desktop or the ipod touch application.
Summary
Very happy with it. I was very used to HandiShopper on my Palm but since it has not yet been ported to the ipod touch this is a nice alternative.
