Used VnSI4H Healthy Registry 2006 for Windows?
Editors’ Review
Yet another entry in the long line of Windows Registry optimizers, this utility is quick and comprehensive but ultimately unsatisfying. VnSI4H Healthy Registry 2006's multiwindow interface features tool icons and stacked windows of scanned items and results. The Scan Items window size is locked, making it difficult to see all items at once. The program lacks a help file, but most intermediate to advanced users will have little difficulty understanding functions.
The program's primary feature scans any or all of 19 selected Registry areas to find errors. The errors are listed in the order they're found with no way to sort the list by location, value, error, or priority. There is a check all/none option, which makes selecting errors for repair a bit easier. Unfortunately, the repair option is disabled in the demo, even on a limited basis, making it difficult to fully evaluate VnSI2H Healthy Registry 2006. A Registry compactor starts with a single click, but was slower than similar utilities. The Optimize Registry function failed to perform during our tests. User settings and a schedule tool were both easily set, but the scheduler could only run either the Scan Registry or Backup Registry once a day.
There were so many minor irritants with this app that they add up to a disappointing package overall. Intermediate and advanced users should continue their search for a flexible and functional Registry optimizer.
