Pros
Easy to use GUI. Very powerful settings. Great export choices for your data. Easy to customized "spiders" for all kinds of content.
Cons
None that I found.
Summary
This is a very good way to get raw data and content from the Internet. Easy to use and very powerful. You just have to play around with the software. Use Google Chrome and inspect web pages to see how the pages/content are/is marked up. You can then use that markup information to get good data from Visual Web Spider.
Very difficult to use.

Pros
Glad there's a trial period before purchasing the product.
Cons
I followed the instruction and filled in all the required fields, and I couldn't even get a hit. Tried several times and still couldn't get any results. I even used the help section to get a better understanding of the product.
