- None. It's so facile, so improvident and so useless. Download.com SHOULD be more stringent in checking harmful softwares.

- This download is absolutely packed with amazing pieces of software, to enhance the windows aesthetics. What impresses me the most is 'styler.exe,' that can change the XP style colour scheme (to something other than the usual blue, silver, or olive).
- Cons
- It is very buggy. The components that make use of native features are not very unique, and those that don't induce numerous crashes, freezes, and other annoying maladies. It is also hard on system resources.
- Summary
- If you have a fast computer, and use simple software (ie: that doesn't make use of too many proprietary techniques, then you're set. However, if you have a slow computer, low graphics card, low RAM, and most importantly an unstable OS, then you will run into many troubles. That being said, onto the software itself... Here is a list and quick review of each included piece of software: 1) Aero Cursors * Great set of cursors. Just change the default windows cursors to these, and you'll have a nice vista mouse. * This one is totally bug-free. 2) Internet Explorer 7 * It has a great new look * The features are extremely limited. * The window cannot be resized * Javascript runs slowly * The search bar doesn't work; it is just another URL bar. * form elements take windows classic style (defeats the purpose) 3) LClock * Makes the clock turn into the form h mm/(am|pm). * pops up a nice calendar when the clock is clicked. * no bugs I've found. 4) MagicOrb * I can't say much about this, since it hasn't worked on all the computers I've tried it on. 5) Sidebar * Makes a nice vista style sidebar * only has four possible widgets: o A picture slideshow o An RSS reader o An analog clock o A search box * Doesn't allow windows to go on top of it 6) Styler * Allows many changes to natively supported styles * Very flexible * No bugs I've found so far 7) TrueTransparency * Makes the windows titlebar turn into transparent aero. * Gets in the way of programs that use thier own title bar (like office 2007). * Causes many freezes 8) ViOrb * Makes a vista style start button. * The button works fine * The XP start button remains below it. * Doesn't work on all computers. * Doesn't work with TrueTransparency running. 9) Vista Explorer * Exactly the same as IE 7: o Same bugs o Only exceptions are a different default page, and o a blue bar at the bottom. 10) Vista Welcome Centre * Again, very similar to IE 7. 11) Visual Tooltip * Makes the popup window preview, when the button is hovered over, like vista. * Sometimes remains up when the mouse moves off the taskbar button. * When it is working, it is good. 12) Winflip * Adds a vista style alt+tab flip visualisation. * Introduces a circular mouse gesture, to initiate it. * Excellent implementation, no bugs that I've found. Ovarall, it is good, if you'll put up with the bugs.

- It's a very bad or i would say dangerous program!!!! First I installed the program which did not told me how i would start the program!!!!!! It also installed a lot of shortcuts on my desktop.................then i found an icon ViStart and know whAT when i clicked on this icon the vista start menu once came for a second and then............i could not access my start menu!!!!!!!!!!!and i could not end this program even somehow i restarted my pc and uninstalled this horrible program!!!!

- I tried to download this file from CNet Download.com and the download got to 90% when Avast! Home Edition flashed an alert that the file is infected with Win32:Trojan-gen {Other}. I immediately stopped the download.

- It was very hard to download, I had to use the alternate site, then there is no instuctions as to how to get it up and running. You are left to try and figure it out on your own and that causes errors to be made that can foul things up on your PC

It says no spyware or other things, well surprise, there most certainly is, and it took me over an hour to rid my computer of the damage this software caused. I am no novice, but I guess you get what you pay for in this case. TERRIBLE!!! This is the very worst product I have ever received from C-Net, do not waste your time.
