Editors’ Review
We were geared up to love this toolbar for the simple reason that it offered a few extras typically not found in the plethora of other Firefox extension out there. Unfortunately, not all of Vista Toolbar for Firefox's features worked for us.
Vista Toolbar resembles your typical toolbar as it stretches across your Firefox window. We were excited to find a few different (but not unique) options on the toolbar, such as the highlighter and zoom tools. The option to add custom buttons to the toolbar is a nice touch. We noticed that a few of the shortcut links were inactive, but we couldn't remove them because the Options menu wouldn't open. As a result, we also have no way of knowing what other standard features are included. Another downside, the privacy shortcut button, which is supposed to let you clear your history, cache, and even Recycle Bin directly from the toolbar, wouldn't work.
There just aren't enough workable features on this toolbar to warrant a recommendation from us. Users should keep looking for a full Firefox extension.
