Not only does it not work with other formats it cannot open most AVIs and installed a bunch of crap on my PC along with it.

Crappy program give me error codes that the pins are not connected...I was unaware I had to connect pins to make this program work!
Summary
Maybe I wouldn't give it a TOTAL THUMBS DOWN if it has at least let me load a video. Nope, all formats have pin connection problem...whatever that is!

Unstated file size limit! VERY SLOW! Never completed a conversion for me (>30 min) for a 5Mb file!!! Can't down sample resolution for larger files! Customer service is terrible if you buy it!

After I bought it, I tried to convert a one-minute file (VERY SMALL and a TYPICAL use). NO GO. Customer service is the developer and he tells me there is a file size limit. NO mention of it on site!!!!!! (How do you miss that?) Developer refused refund, said essentially "buyer beware." If you need a converter, this is NOT the one! A waste of time and frustration.

It can't even play the input file. Whenever I try to open some file, it sends me an error message and closes all of a sudden! I've tried many files and it's the same. Re-installation is fast but makes no sense when it doesn't work at all!
