  I at least was able to figure out how to draw a line...unlike some other CAD progs.

  Not enough help, was left feeling very frustrated. It has the potential to be a great program if only it explained things better for the novice (ie a getting started tutorial would have been nice)

  I've tried a few of the other CAD design software on here but none of them were as easy to use as this program. After playing around with this for no more then about 30 mins, I've already got a rough draft of a semi-complex 3D design. Kudos to VectorEngineer and designers of this program. I may even buy the full version to see what else it can do.

  OK, sure, there are a few (very few) features that are missing but overall this is a great program! I has good grid features, works to scale, lots of shape tools, normal zoom functions like "zoom to extents" which is handy and loads of other stuff. If you want even MORE features buy the full package, it's ONLY $20. THIS IS FREE! I'm running it on Windows XP and it works fine. If you want full 3D rendering and auto creation of walls, lists of building materials, etc then look somewhere else and pay alot more. Yes, this is similar to the MS Paint interface - THANK GOD! I don't have to learn some draftsmans method of drawing a circle or a line - this is easy.... If you just want to make a quick sketch of something and keep it to scale this may be just the ticket.

  This program is truly a waste of time and energy. After downloading it and installing it , I began to notice that though there were no crashes or other error messages , it might as well have contained them. This program is about as efficient as Microsoft Paint, the standard issue windows version. It lacks and real functions or a quality user interface. If you are considering the installation of VectorEngineer, save yourself the energy and the disappointment
