  There are enormous collections of MIDI files out there. MIDI sequences are so much smaller than the equivalent MP3!

  It let me do what I stated above after downloading several other programs on download.com but my computer is now running really slow - prior to downloading this particular program.

  Cons

  Cheapo looking GUI but who cares--it's freeware. Before getting used to it I kind of find I load their sample song files by mistake.

  Summary

  I can't tell yet but you may only be able to save the edited file within the program. I don't see YET if the new file can be saved to an outside file on the computer. Just in case, I played it and recorded the audio to Audacity and saved that file to practice a song on my guitar that I removed the guitar part from of the midi file song. The program is a bit clumsy but does the job I'm asking it to do. Thank God for Audacity. What a problem solver. I wish it could do this too.
