  Took me a while to figure out things I don't think the vault option really works

  Summary

  Phototheca is a cool way to keep tabs on your vast photo collection. It will let you view, organize and do all the basic photo viewing, sharing and use (like setting as desktop background) from within the app. This is what it was designed to do and it does it perfectly. If only it had a tutorial to make life simpler for first time users!

  It wanted me to download something to make it work, but did not tell where I could find it. I don't like to have to download a lot.

• Really good and easy-to-use alternative to Picasa

  Pros

  1. It works really fast, I'm opening album with 3000 photos and I don't see any slowdown. 2. Division of images to photos in Events and other pictures in Albums. 3. Easy work with keywords. 4. Smart albums. 5. Calendar and timeline features of photos veiwing. 6. Modern and convenient interface.

  Cons

  1. It crashes sometimes on my computer but it seems that the team works on fixes continually. So I'm pretty sure it will work much better in future. 2. There's no print peature yet.
