Used USB Image Tool for Windows?
Editors’ Review
USB Image Tool boils down the process of creating and restoring disk images of USB flash drives to a few easy steps. It has a welcoming feel for beginners while still doing the job for advanced users. The program is portable so there is no need for installation.
In addition to letting you create raw or compressed image files of your USB flash drives, USB Image Tool lets you create an image file of any MP3 player mounted as a USB drive. It tells you the path, location, name, and number of each mounted device in an easy-to-read menu. The program lets you create backups and scans your current images for errors with just a touch of a button. Most of the program's features are assigned a well-labeled button so you don't have to go searching for features if you're new to creating disk images. You can add the disk image files to a favorites list and enable the program to suggest a name for your backup image file based on a preset tag, among other options. When it comes to performance, the program doesn't lack speed, either, as it took around seven minutes to create a backup image file of 7.55GB on our USB flash drive.
If you tend to store a lot of important data on USB flash drives, then keeping all your data safe should be a priority. USB Image Tool creates disk image files in a matter of minutes and can save you a lot of headaches if one of your removable storage devices fails.
