Use To Be Great But Not Anymore...

When it works it is a great way to keep track of expenses and fuel mileages etc.
Cons
Does not work on 64 bit systems or if it does good luck getting the activation code.
Summary
I purchased this years ago and used it on my old XP desktop PC. Lost the operating system and had to reformat a different hard drive. Haven't used the program since. Downloaded it to my 64 bit Vista laptop but can't get it activated. Seems I need a valid registration code and while there is a provision for generating the code via the website that does not work for me. I am instructed to contact Neal L. Park consulting but I can find no way to contact said party! Did he die or something?? It's pretty bad when you pay for something and still can't use it.

Create and maintain a car service log/record journal for an unlimited number of vehicles.

Ultimate Car Desktop is a Windows based car service log/record keeping application that can, but does not have to, interface with a Palm PDA or Pocket PC PDA. It records fuel, oil changes, tire repairs, maintenance events and more for an unlimited number of vehicles. Fuel economy is available at the click of the mouse. Default suppliers for frequently used types allow quick entry. Last mileage entered is remembered for quick entry the next time. Change viewing filter to only see items interested in, filter and print reports on date range and item types. Export reports to Word, RTF, PDF, Excel file formats. Graphical display of fuel economy, next service information displayed in the status bar and reminders for Next Service automatically entered in Microsoft Outlook are all included.
