It's not always easy to keep ideas organized, especially when you're working on a big project. TreeNotes is a simple but effective way to organize notes in a tree hierarchy. We think this intuitive program could be useful for a wide range of people including students, creative writers, project managers, and many more.

The program's interface is basic and easy to navigate, with large buttons representing the program's major features. A toolbar across the top is similar to that found in many word-processing programs. Down the left side of the interface the tree hierarchy is displayed, and to the right, a text field. It's easy to create headings and sub-headings for notes, each of which can be represented by a relevant icon. This is a flexible, intuitive way to keep track of notes, and we think it's great for text-based projects. We especially liked the fact that the program can be minimized to the system tray, keeping it handy but unobtrusive. The only major drawback that we came across was that TreeNotes does not allow users to insert images or attach documents to notes; we've seen similar programs that do offer this functionality. Still, if you don't mind sticking to text, we think that TreeNotes is a great way to organize ideas, to-do lists, goals, and much more. The program's built-in Help file is well-written and thorough, although most users will probably find that they don't even need to reference it.

TreeNotes installs politely but leaves a folder behind upon removal. We recommend this program to all users.

Attach files, emails, links and email addresses to your tasks. The attached files can be optionally embedded and stored directly in your database. If you additionally encrypt the database, no one will be able to access the embedded files. The embedded files can be still opened and edited from Tree Notes, preserving all changes.

Tree Notes can be used as a simple notes manager, or as a personal knowledge base or information management system. You can easily store all your notes ina single, secure place, and manage them efficiently.

The ability to easily copy paste your notes allows you to create and use various templates that you might need.

You can also import all your text files into Tree Notes. The common messof txt files can be solved easily with Tree Notes.
