• Publisher's Website Looks Like a Scam

  Pros

  None - I have not tried this software, and I don't plan to try it.

  Cons

  My McAfee Site Advisor flagged EffectMartix's website with a yellow flag - meaning "use with caution." I looked at their "buy" page, and they had a fake McAfee "Hacker Safe" badge on it. They also had what looked like a fake VeriSign bage.

  Summary

  I know that the McAfee "Hacker Safe" badge they have on their "buy" page is fake because the real ones show the date on which McAfee last tested the site, and this one has no date on it. Also, the green and white shield did not look right. That is in addition to the fact that my REAL McAfee Site Advisor program flagged it as a problematic website (yellow caution flag). I think this means there is a problem with this company, and I wanted to bring it to everyone's attention before they give this company their credit card or debit card information. Also, I didn't see anything for using PayPal, or any other legitimate, safe means of paying for things online.

  Pros

  Same as the guy above, i tried loads of software and this was the only one that worked without any error or problems. 1. Convert any file 2. Create menus (which is a big plus for me

  1. Nothing much, pretty much perfect since its constantly updated

  Summary

  Easy and quick to use so that even a cretin could figure it out. No stability issue and not a resource hog. Highly reccommended

  Pros

  I was trying to convert an AVI file to DVD format and I could not find anything that worked. Every software had one issue issue or another. This software was a relief because it was simple to use and it actually worked great! Thanks Andrew Andrew D

  Cons

  The only issue some people my have is a small watermark that is placed on the top of the video screen. You can watch the video fine or you can purchase a license for a small nominal fee.

  Summary

  1. Simple to use. 2. Good interface. 3. Professionally made. 4. Consistently good results. 5. Shall I go on?
