Great for keeping notes and syncing with my iPhone.
Robert VaughanAugust 10, 2014
Pros
Syncing is much faster now in version 1.8.0. It usually takes me under two seconds to sync a few files. The Sync window now displays the date and time of the last sync. When I sync it displays the number of notes duplicated, restored, added, and synced for both the Mac and the iOS device. This gives me all the information at a glance so I can easily see if I forgot to put a note in the sync category.
Cons
No cons with this version.
Summary
TopXNotes keeps all my formatted and straight text notes in one place. It syncs quickly with my iPhone.
Easy to use, very intuitive software.

Pros
Easy to use, especially good for rapid note taking while talking on the phone. Lightweight app, doesn't take a lot of memory. Good and quick support from the software developers.
Cons
None that I have found so far.
Summary
I installed this software and then started using it right away. By the end of the day I had been in 4 project meetings and then on the phone for several hours. I realized I had created 8 long pages of notes without any problems or having to read the instructions. Highly recommended especially if you are jugging several high-priority projects that you have to keep straight.
Great app for syncing notes to my Mac

Pros
The QuickNotes menu keeps my most used notes in a small window floating on my desktop for instant access.
Cons
I wish it had come out sooner.
Summary
The 1.6 version converted all my old notes to the new version automatically in under a second. Now if only I could type that fast . . . I used to use TopXNotes to keep all my notes in one place but now I can sync notes with my iPhone via WiFi and carry the ones I want with me. I customized the toolbar to add the iPhone Sync button. When I tell it to sync it immediately finds my iPhone. After syncing my Mac tells me how many notes were copied in each direction. I can instantly search all my notes on my Mac or my iPhone. I found out it automatically backs up the last 15 changes on the iPhone. I can restore any of those straight from my iPhone. TopXNotes can email out a note from my iPhone by just tapping on the email icon. I've used TopXNotes on the Mac for years and have been waiting for it to come out for the iPhone. I love it!
TopXNotes instantly locates text in any or all notes.

Pros
Its formatting options are always right at hand, including emphasis color (highlighting) and document color. I can password protect the entire database or individual notes. Once I get a note to my liking I can write protect it.
Cons
I wish it would sync with my iPhone. Perhaps a future release . . .
Summary
I just downloaded the new 1.5 version and love it. TopXNotes lets me keep all my formatted and straight text notes in one place. I used to keep TextEdit documents in my Documents folder but often had to hunt for the ones I wanted through a large folder. Since I've imported them all into TopXNotes I can instantly locate text inside any or all notes. Its numerous formatting options are always right at hand, including font, size, style, text color, emphasis color (highlighting), document color, and justification. It even checks spelling as I type. I right-clicked on the toolbar and customized it to have the functions I use most. The ability to sort by note name, category, creation date, and modified date allows me to quickly isolate the notes I want. I like the new striped background in the NoteOrganizer window. I can password protect the entire database or individual notes. Once I get a note to my liking I can write protect it.

Updated on Jun 20, 2010
My review of the new 1.6 version: Great app for syncing notes to my Mac I just downloaded the new 1.6 version and love it. Summary
This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
Rather than having to sort through a myriad of stickies on my desk top, my notes are organized and easily accessible through the QuickNote tab on my desktop. These tools are only good if they are easy to use, and this is! I recommend this product to anyone that has a need to store bits of related or unrelated information.
