  Pros

  Great in its simplicity if all you are looking for is a simple to do list. Is the only PIM that offers a tree view/ hierarchical structure for free (that I could find) and is the main reason I installed it.

  Cons

  Is a bit too simple, not designed for the average enduser. Needs to be developed more before being released to the public. Not enough info, even on the author's site.<p>First, after installing I got an initialization error so couldn't open the program and had to search to find out that the error was because I don't have .NET Framework installed. Like other users on dialup, I had resisted that huge download til now. This should be stated up front as a requirement.<p>Once installed there are no standard minimize and maximize buttons.Since it minimizes to the System Tray when clicking the Red X, this is not that big a deal, but it also stays always on top when open and no configuration option to change that.<p>The only options are for auto-save and opening the last ToDo when opening the program--this last should be default.<p>On my system, when first opened, the interface is sized down to its smallest and I have to resize it manually. <p>No link to the Help file in the Help menu. It will open in your browser just after being installed, but if you don't memorize it then you have to drill down to ToDo's folder in Program Files if you have a question.<p>This app has great potential and I would rate it higher if more work was put into it. More features are promised in the next version, which I can live with, although no reminder function is sorely missed. For now I'll stick with on older version of Easy ToDo Lite that is still unlimited.

  Pros

  Fast install, simple to learn even, easy to use, no hidden spamware, malware, adware, and virus free. Tremendous tool to use for simple everyday organizing of tasks whether for home, work or school. Easy to set up drill down tasks for major projects. Just after one day of use I am able to focus on tasks rather than wasting time trying to remember what needs to be done. After 25 years of using different "to do" software, this program from Mak thinks like humans think.
