Used Desktop Calendar and Personal Planner for Windows?
Editors’ Review
Desktop Calendar and Personal Planner is a calendar and day planner application. It presents itself more like a real wall calendar, even going so far as to display a new image on the background each month. Within the application you can also access your email or the Internet.
Pros
Functional calendar: You can enter dates and appointments into the interface easily enough, and the display is easy to read. The ability to sort your tasks into your personal calendar and your business calendar is also appreciated.
Multiple user support: Multiple people on the same workstation can manage their calendars within the app.
Cons
Outdated display: This app takes up massive screen real estate with a simple image, just like a wall calendar.
Browser and email: The application allows you to access the Web or your email through buttons in the calendar. However, using this to browse the Web or send email is many times slower than using your regular browser or email programs.
Bottom Line
If you need a calendar app, this could potentially fill that void. However, it is a very outdated-looking application in many respects and doesn't provide any added functionality that is worth using.
Editors' note: This is a review of the trial version of Desktop Calendar and Personal Planner 2015.0.1.
