This platform-style arcade game falls short due to both mediocre design and unchallenging gameplay. As Tobi, you must navigate a series of platforms and ladders to collect golden donuts while avoiding your red-shirted foes. The graphics and sound are strictly run-of-the-mill, and your character is so small we had to strain our eyes to successfully play. Because your enemies don't appear to be very intelligent, it's not tough to outwit them. As a result, we didn't find Tobi On The Run very challenging. You can turn the music and sound on and off, but the game doesn't include a level editor for more experienced players. At the end of the day, Tobi On The Run is probably best suited for youngsters rather than for even newbie gamers.
