This calendar program focuses more on humor than on functional features. When you launch Theme Calendar - Anything Goes Jokes, you'll see a two-paned interface; the top portion displays the current and next month, while the bottom features the joke of the day. If you resize the app and tweak the font, you'll be able to view the entire year. The interface's design definitely lacks elegance, but you can at least make basic customizations by tweaking the color scheme and font. However, unlike many more powerful calendar programs, this one lacks features such as scheduling, alarms, and the ability to append notes. Also, the program should definitely be kept away from children, as many of the jokes have an adult theme. We also find the one-week trial period too short for our tastes. This program will appeal more to jokesters looking for a laugh than those seeking a full-fledged calendar utility.

Theme Calendar is a Windows desktop application, which displays a fully customizable calendar with "themed" messages for each day of the year. The "Anything Goes" Jokes theme can be about anything, using any kind of language. Topics range from marriage, religion, politics, blondes, old age, quotes, kids, rednecks, and dumb criminals. (These jokes are not suitable for children).

This is a perpetual calendar that has one year's worth of messages displayed on a daily basis and will function for years to come. When the program is started, the message for the current day will display automatically. Clicking on any day in any month will display the message for that day. If the program is left running at midnight, the date and message will change automatically. The calendar display can be customized for preferred sizes, colors, fonts, and months displayed. Messages repeat on a yearly basis.
