• Once Good Utility Now Just Scamware

  It used to be a great product. Not it is non updatable.

  Not only has this not updated in years apparently, they will not respond to a request for a refund of $30 for a product that is no longer relevant

  Summary

  I used to pay for this and appreciate it's use. Now they come off like criminals, selling a product that hasn't updated in years and refusing to refund my money.

  Pros

  The program was good way back early in this century. Useful. Could be highly useful now but latest version was in 2007-8.

  Cons

  They take your money but don't provide service. Last version was 2007-8 although supposedly there have been upgrades to their database. Who knows? I haven't been able to activate for years (changed computers) and kept paying them for nothing. They do not EVER respond to questions and no one helps. And with years of paying and not getting upgraded, they are fast enough to demand money!

  Summary

  Stay away from this scam. It's good, but old and outdated. The people who developed this apparently moved on and passed their client list to someone else. If you DO buy it, it will not damage your computer but there must be something out there that's better than this.

• Clear, detailed, useful information

  Pros

  TUT offers a wealth of clearly defined useful information on every single thing running on your computer. This information is accompanied by in depth recommendations for what you should keep and what you probably should not with step by step solutions for troublesome programs. The user has complete control and nothing is done automatically without your input.

  Cons

  Had let TUT elapse for awhile so can't speak to the current frequency of updated info but I find even the "unknown" listings useful.

• Do not buy or update your subscription

  Pros

  *Used* to be a good programme. Legacy features can still be helpful. Do not, however, spend money on this for the reasons stated below (and by others).

  Cons

  All support has ceased, though Answers that Work will take your money. I had this programme installed for several years; then allowed my subscription to lapse over three years or so. I renewed my subscription in June 2013. No updates, no responses to unidentified tasks; no responses to emails. I have now opened a dispute with Paypal. I may not get my money back, but I might at least get Paypal to close down their account.

  Summary

  Company are now taking money for nothing. Avoid!

  No update and diagnostic is useless.

  Summary

  This was a good product, used it with Windows 7. Switched to Windows 8 and new computer and will not load. It says to update drivers and links to website, but drivers are not available on website. I assume all are dead at site.

  This was a good product that I used for several years.

  Cons

  I purchased a new computer, tried to reinstall the product to no avail. Contacted them several times but never received a response. If you look at their website, there are no recent dates for anything - no indication for support for Windows 8, etc. and no way to contact them - they simply do not answer. They will take your money but I'm not willing to take the chance that the product is updated for Windows 8 because there is simply no information and there is no one to ask because they don't return emails.

  Summary

  Can't trust that you will get a product that is up to date and that will be kept updated.

  I've used this software for a number of years and initially felt it was very effective at analysing the value of Tasks, Services and Start Ups.

  Cons

  Unfortunately,support for it has gradually dimished to the point now where it is hardly, if ever updated, despite feeding back previously unrecognised software for review. Emails seeking support are never answered, nor are emails addressed to their 'sales'. I'm afraid they are now taking your money under false pretences.

  Summary

  SAVE YOUR MONEY FOR SOMETHING THAT SOMEONE STILL BELIEVES IN! THEY HAVE INDEED LOST INTEREST.

  I love this program, I can delete and disable things that are bogging down my memory, it's something I use almost daily HOWEVER....

  Cons

  had to get a new computer and needed my subscription info. Went to website, looked a long, long time to find any contact of any sort, found one email address but no response and can't find again. Clicked option to have info sent to reinstall, link doesn't work, tried it over and over, I'm so angry that there is no contact info, (intentional so you'll just buy another out of frustration??) Also, this year, they automatically took renewal fee out of my bank acct., I didn't sign up for that!?! Also, could never forward questional tasks that is an option on the program, it has never worked for the 5-6 yrs I've had it.tHIS IS NOT A FREE SERVICE, BUT SERVICE IS MISSING.

  PLEASE SOMEONE TELL ME HOW TO CONTACT!!!
