This handy piece of freeware stores and manages key information for and about baby-sitters, though the lack of a printing option seems like an oversight. The Sitter, with its well-designed tabbed interface, categorically presents crucial information for your baby-sitter, including your location, emergency numbers, medical information, your kids' bedtimes, meals, and what they're allowed to do. Entering data is a breeze, thanks to a step-by-step wizard that walks you through the process. You also can use the program to store information about baby-sitters, including their address, hourly wage, and time worked. Additional features such as voice activation for emergency calls and password protection increase The Sitter's usefulness. The main gripe we have with this program is it lacks a printing option, meaning the baby-sitter will need to have constant access to the computer. Still, parents who want to feel more comfortable in leaving their children with a baby-sitter will benefit from this free program.
