TextMaster Split File is software tool for splitting fixed or delimited text files into specified number of text files with the same structure. Features include defining number of files to split into based on number of lines each file should contain or fixed number of files regardless of the size. Each file can have header carried over if so required. Version 2 globalization issue fixed.

Pros
No Idea, I uninstalled it immediately after wasting my time downloading, installing and trying to use it only to find out that it only supports 5000 lines in the "free" (crippled) version. The thing that annoyed me the most is that it didn't say so up front. I guess a "pro" is that it seemed to uninstall easily.
Cons
LAME app listed as free but really cripple-ware. Who needs to split a file with only 5000 lines? Answer: nobody. It is a useless app.

Pros
I like this software. I used it to split large text files into smaller ones. Then I turn the smaller text files into audio MP3's with another program. This is a great free program that does what it says.
Cons
The only thing I wish this program did more is for more options naming options on the split files. I use a free program called FileRenamer to edit the file names as a batch.
Summary
Great program that does what it says. If the options available with this program are not quite enough the pay version "TextMaster Split Joint? does most of the other options you might want in splitting and joining text files. That is a separate down load. This version "TextMaster Split" is totally free just like it says.
