  This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />I installed TealEcho about 2 months ago to give my new Treo 650 Graffiti-type support. By and large it does what it's supposed to do, but there ARE some quirks. You really have to get used to distinguishing between a touch of the stylus that will be interpreted as a desire to write and a touch for any other purpose -- they are quite distinct. At first I could not get TealEcho to write at all in "Write Anywhere" mode -- it would only pay attention if I held down the button. With some experimenting I began to distinguish between taps and text. Now for the most part I don't have trouble activating the text recognition, but there are times when no matter what I do I can't write and have to resort to holding down the center button. Still not sure if this is me or the application. In summary I'd say that with a little patience and experimentation this application is well worth the price if you like to write on your screen.
