TealDoc is a a full-featured doc reader for standard Palm OS Doc and text files, TealDoc, from TealPoint Software, also supports special features and enhanced TealDoc-format documents. Standard features include screen rotation, anti-aliased text, smooth scrolling, full screen mode, beaming, a bonus tiny font, and direct support for docs and plain text files stored on external VFS-compatible media cards such as SD/MMC, compact flash, and Memory Stick. Only TealDoc offers all this and supports enhanced documents with HTML-like tags for inserting TealPaint pictures, oversized scrolling bitmaps, hyperlinks, hidden bookmarks, and stylized headers.

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />TealDoc is a fine document reader, with a clean interface and some great features that others lack, such as full-screen mode and screen rotation. It's footprint a bit large (thought that's less and less of an issue), but my real compaint is that there's no way to create or edit docs on the Palm - they must be created or converted with the Widnows-only desktop component. I'm still hanging with SmartDoc for present, but since it's been abandoned by the developer I'm expecting to adopt TealDoc in the near future.
