can navigate to any web sight open and close firefox can search google youtube and others
Cons
cant do things like play video on command

i like it mostly because i was able to figure out how to use it in less than five minutes

Pros
tazti is somehting I haven't see anywhere else. Cutting edge speech recognition features. Like spellsearch, logging into facebook and myspace, controlling itunes by speaking to the software. Very easy to indtall and run. Lots of fun. Cool stuff.
Cons
I did a couple of training sessions because I have an accent. But only took me about 30 minutes. How do i say enngllissh? No built in dictation... but heck, I don't use any dictation anyway.
Summary
This software kicks butt. I can only imagine what tazti programmers will come up with next!

Would love to hear why anyone thinks that this is better than others, e.g. Dragon.

Like my youngest child: doesn't want to listen .....

Dragon is not free, but it works well once used to your voice and accent.

Pros
Many built in commands and the ability to create your own. No other freeware even comes close.
Cons
Same bugaboos you find with any speech recognition in that it doesn't understand you all the time. Still if there's anything out there better, paid or free, I'd like to see it.

I don't think it's a dictation program for word processing, but I can't be sure. I could be missing something, so don't turn away cause I said that. :)

Vista & XP versions both work great

Pros
I installed both the Vista and XP versions. Speech recognition for itunes, Facebook and lots of search engines (Google, Yahoo, Wikipedia, MSN, ASK, Amazon, eBay, Youtube) is absolutely fantastic. I've eliminated 1000,s of mouse clicks & keystrokes.
Cons
3 recommended training sessions takes 30 minutes.... but ultimately it's worth it cause this software works great.
Summary
Highly recommend tazti speech recognition. Lots of features I've never seen elsewhere. All features work great. And this software is free forever.I thank Voice tech Group and my fingers thank them also.
Remarkable Speech Recognition Performance: tazti (Vista)

Pros
East to install. Easy to use. Really works. Great speech recognition performance. Lets me navigate around Facebook & MySpace. Lets me control my iTunes software on my notebook PC when I'm at the cafe. Voice searches all of the important search engines and other web sites. Lets me create my own speech commands, even for my bookmarks. In the top 25% of best freeware/shareware I've used. Also they have a XP version that I tried. It works great too.
Cons
The only way it could be better is if they had full on dictation into Microsoft word. But that's not their bag. They are into web navigation and productivity. Those two reason are why they are a 4. But their product works like a 5. OK... I'll rate it a five because it's so much fun. I also tried their XP version and it requires a little more training and works fantastic also. The results were well worth my time.

All you need to do is create a profile for the application. Then populate your new application profile with speech commands you create. Then easily associate(keybind) the new speech commands to a keyboard keystroke or series of keystrokes you would make. Tazti is the latest in automation software. 2. Play PC games by speaking instead of using your keyboard. Operating similar to #1 above all you need to do is create a profile for a PC game. Then populate your new game profile with speech commands. Each speech command can be associated(keybind) to a keystroke or series of keystrokes. Then you run your game and tazti at the same time. Open the profile in tazti and your speech commands work in the game.Tazti is an excellent game utility. Download game profiles shared to the tazti server. Upload favorite profiles. 3.Create up to 300 additional custom speech commands of your own choice and associate each to one of... a web page, file, folder, video, song, batch file, program or a program with command line parameters. Then speak the speech command and the associated web page, file, folder, video, song, batch file, program or program with command line parameters will open/run. 4. Voice Mouse Clicker: Incorporated in this software are the speech commands "mouse click" and "mouse double click". When tazti is running move your mouse cursor where you want it to click then speak either of the speech commands and the action is performed. Additional "PC control" speech commands are also included such as "context menu", "copy", "cut", "paste", "media player", "go windows explorer".
