Tablacus Explorer offers a stylish, useful way to look at your files and doesn't have many drawbacks. It simply adds new features to the layout you're used to in order to make finding your files as easy and convenient as possible. You'll wish it was the default in Windows so you could use it all of the time.

This download borrows heavily from the default file explorer in Windows, but makes some much-needed changes. The most obvious of which are tabs, so you don't need to have a dozen explorer windows open at once. Thanks to softer, more modern lines, it sports a little more style, too. Opening files from Tablacus Explorer is just as fast as with any other file finder. The program occasionally crashes, but it's usually only when you have too many tabs open. Since it's an executable file, you can take it with you on a thumb drive, but be warned that your antivirus might flag it (unnecessarily). The program is customizable from downloadable layout extensions and other goodies.

Tablacus Explorer brings so much more style to your file explorer that it could become the only way you browse your files. It makes finding, organizing, and launching programs so much easier than anything Windows has to offer.

Not yet ready for prime-time

Pros
Tablacus Explorer appears to use the IE rendering engine to provide the basic user interface which can then be expanded with a large number of addons using javascript modules. There are modules for multithreading, up button, status bar, integration with the Fast Copy program, 7-zip integration, and tons more, making it highly configurable. There are also options for customizing buttons, toolbars and menus, but the configuration interface provided for this is utterly baffling. Unlike some other advanced file managers it opens large folders as quickly as Explorer. Also unlike many other alternative file managers it retains the undo function for copy, move, rename and delete functions, along with the full range of column labels in the details pane. Tree view, dual pane view divided horizontally or vertically and tabs aligned left,right,top and bottom are available.
Cons
Favorites cannot be organized into folders. Changes to folders in the details pane are not mirrored in the tree pane due to the absence of auto refresh. The refresh button only works for the details pane. The rudimentary search bar offers no options of any sort and cannot sort in sub folders, thus making it useless. There is no help file and the instructions in English provided on the internet are piecemeal and difficult to understand.
Summary
Potentially this is a cool program, but it's shortcomings are so serious that I would not consider using it as an Explorer alternative. It really needs a lot more development before it is ready for prime time.

It is better than window explorer It is portable and free easi to use. Interface divisible in 2 or 3 or 4 part to browser better among folders.
