Make codeworks or edit texts locally or directly on remote server.

SuperEdi is a text editor with syntax coloring and build-in FTP client. The build-in directory tree helps you locate files quickly without opening the Windows Explorer. Context sensitive information is available via keyword lookup in help files or Web sites.

The editor is extendable using programs, text clips, automation scripts and HTML dialogs. SuperEdi supports Unicode UTF-8, UTF-16 as well as many locale- specific encodings.

SuperEdi Rocks -- Why spend $50 on UltraEdit?

Pros
I was a bit skeptical about it at first. When I had to upgrade UE, I found out the price had gone up to $50 and that was simply too much for a text editor. I searched again and found this one and it is awesome.

None that I can see
Summary
Get this tool, you'll like it I had tried many other free text editors, but none of them stacked up against UltraEdit (UE), but SuperEDI has all the super handy features I need
